Habenaria spencei (Orchidaceae): rediscovery other than its type locality and new distribution record to Karnataka, India

Habenaria spencei Blatt. & McCann was described from Mahabaleshwar, Maharashtra in 1930; since then it had not been collected so far. This orchid is not reported from any other location in India. This report is a rediscovery after 94 years other than its type location and forms a new state report for Karnataka.
