A note on Pterospermum obtusifolium Wight ex Mast. (Malvaceae), a rare endemic evergreen tree of southern Western Ghats, India

Pterospermum obtusifolium Wight ex Mast. is a rare, large, evergreen tree endemic to the southern Western Ghats. The authors have collected specimens from two locations in Courtallum, Sengottai Forest Division, Tenkasi District, Tamil Nadu. As detailed taxonomic account including fresh images are not available until now, they are provided in this paper for the first time.
