Abstract

During the course of recent field visits to the Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh, India, the authors collected an interesting specimen of Ophioglossum L. On the critical examination of the specimen with relevant literature, it was identified as Ophioglossum jaykrishnae S.M.Patil, S.K.Patel, V.M.Raole & K.S.Rajput. This recently described taxon is so far known only from its type locality Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary, Gujarat, and from Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, Maharashtra, India.
