First report of darkling beetle Blaps orientalis Solier, 1848 (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae) from India

Abstract
While identifying the old (more than 50 years) collections of Western Regional Centre, Zoological Survey of India, Pune, the occurrence of the species B. orientalis Solier,1848 from Pune constitute first report to India.
