Record of the endemic orchid Biermannia jainiana (Asparagales: Orchidaceae: Epidendroideae) from its type locality, India

Abstract

Biermannia jainiana is an endemic orchid of Arunachal Pradesh reported from Sessa, West Kameng District in 2001.  This is the second record of this species from the same locality.  Hence the conservation status of the species has been assessed.
