New records of opisthobranchs from Lakshadweep, India (Mollusca: Heterobranchia)

Abstract

All India Coordinated Project on Taxonomy (AICOPTAX), an initiative of Ministry of Environment and Forests allowed the authors to study opisthobranch fauna of the west coast of India. During the present study, nine species of opisthobranchs are reported for the first time from Lakshadweep of which six are new records to India.
