Abstract

Ophiorrhiza pykarensis Gamble was rediscovered from Mukurthi National Park, Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu region after a lapse of 78 years. A detailed taxonomic description, phenology, ecology and conservation status of the species is provided along with its illustrations.
