Notes on the occurrence of southeastern Asian taxon Scopellaria marginata (Blume) W.J.de Wilde & Duyfjes (Cucurbitaceae) in the Nicobar Islands: a new distribution record in the Indian part of Sundaland

Scopellaria marginata (Blume) W.J.de Wilde & Duyfjes, collected from Teressa Island of the Nancowrie group of Islands in Nicobar District of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, forms a new distribution record in the Sundaland and for India. Earlier, this taxon was reported from southeastern Asia and southern China. Its description, phenology, ecology, and relevant notes are presented.
