Abstract

A botanical survey conducted in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, Madukkarai and Kanuvai forests of Tamil Nadu, Southern Western Ghats led to the validation and documentation of many RET plants. The plants are properly identified and documented. Among them 51 selected species belonging to 38 genera, 26 families and two subfamilies are presented here. Short notes about their habit, habitat, locality and endemism are also included along with three colour photos.
